Springfield Middle School scholar Ashley Gass read her essay
at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Charlotte Reeves
Chapter, awards tea on Thursday at the Glen in Springfield.
Ashley's essay won the National Division for 7th grade as the best essay
in the United States! Ashley will be recognized in Washington DC this
summer for her outstanding achievement.

grade winner from Krisle.
