Robertson County Battle of the Schools

All Robertson County Schools are invited to participate in this event. You will be competing against schools of the same level; combo schools will compete against other high schools, middle schools against middle schools, etc...

The Rules:

1. Decorations must be viewable from hall.

2. All doors (including fire doors) must be free from obstacles and able to close freely.

3. The decorations must relate to any drug/alcohol theme of your choosing and does not have to be the same throughout the school but must include some color of red. This is a competition so be creative.

4. The slogan/message must promote a drug free lifestyle and have an anti-drug, alcohol and/or tobacco use theme.

5. Outside school decorations may start as early as Tuesday October 1st and must be completed by Monday October 28th at 8:00am.

6. Inside school decorations may start as early as Monday October 21st and must be completed by Monday October 28th at 8:00am.

7. ALL decorations must be taken down and the area cleaned by Monday November 4th at 8:00am.

8. “Theme of the Day” (e.g. crazy sock day, hat day). Pictures of the students would be recommended. Theme for each day starts on October 23rd thru October 31st. On October 31st, the “Theme” for the day MUST be “Red Day”, everyone wears the color red. Schools need to email their percentage of students who participate each day to (will provide email at a later date). Please provide your school name with your email. Active participants count as part of the total for the competition.

9. A trophy will be awarded to the school with the highest score, along with a runner up.

10. Remember, this may be a competition, but it is a great chance to have fun and show off your School Spirit!

Criteria for Judging:

* Visual Impact (inside)

* Visual Impact (outside)

* Originality

* Creativity

* Strength of Slogan (which MUST contain a drug/alcohol slogan of your choosing)

Prize:

* Winner-Trophy for 1st and 2nd place

“We are going to College with strong minds and bodies”
**Wear your favorite College Team Gear**

Wednesday, October 30th-Jean Day
“I’m a Jean-ious not to do Drugs”
**Wear JEANS**

Thursday, October 31st-Red Day
“Red-y to be Drug-Free”
**Wear RED**
