“The Lady Jackets got to go down to the dugout and field after practice; meet all the girls and coaches. The Belmont team talked with the girls , answered all questions and gave advice on grades, school, being a student-athlete, getting scouted for school, what to do in hard times, prioritizing your time, having a good outlook, having fun, high school, scholarships, college tours all kinds of stuff. They all told them their positions, where they were from, their major and why they choose Belmont and to play softball. They stayed as long as the girls had questions. And they asked the girls questions also to get to know them a little better.” Coach Frey
