“The SMS Band had several participants in the MTSBOA Solo and Ensemble Competition in Nashville this weekend. The scholars prepared either a solo or small ensemble piece, performed it for a judge, and receives a rating based on their performance.
The following scholars received a superior rating (top rating possible): Peyton Hopper, Rachel Massey, Mikiah Souza, Wyatt Moses, Bo Walton, Emily Blackburn, Jase Manuel, Jonah Harris and Kyler Brown. The following scholars received an excellent rating (second best rating possible): Emily Blackburn, Leila Raymer and Debrah Johnson. Congrats to these scholars!”
